Cinema Audio Society Winner

After being nominated for an ACE Eddie award for Making Waves last weekend, but not winning, I tried to go into the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) awards this weekend without any expectations.

But to my great surprise and excitement, Tom Myers, Dan Blanck, Frank Rinella, and I won the CAS award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing!

Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound was ultimately a film about, for, and dedicated to the sound artists of the Cinema Audio Society, and we wanted nothing more than to do right by them. That they chose to give us this incredible honor alongside Ford v Ferrari, Toy Story 4, Game of Thrones, Chernobyl, and Fleabag means the world to me, and I am so thankful! What a journey this past year has been!
