'Making Waves' at the Academy

I had the incredible honor of presenting Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today, along with director Midge Costin, producers Bobette Buster & Karen Johnson, and film subject Walter Murch.

A huge shout-out to Academy Theater manager Richard Stermer, panel moderator Patt Morrison, the camera/sound/directing team that shot my interview, and the entire Academy staff. They were all so gracious and made us feel incredibly taken-care-of. The whole experience could have felt quite intimidating, but I left feeling so gratified and thankful. I’ll never forget it!
